Its Scottish because if it was Jewish it would be anti-semetic.

A Scots boy came home from school and told his mother he had been given a part in the school play. "Wonderful," says the mother, "What part is it?" The boy says "I play the part of the Scottish husband!" The mother scowls and says: "Go back and tell your teacher you want a speaking part." |

I happen to think the fit hitting the shan is a very real possibility over the next decade or so.
However, hyperinflation, not deflation, is the stuff my nightmares are built of. As long as ol'' "Helicopter Ben" is in charge, we can be sure the Nice Government Men will keep us safe from the evils of deflation. |

The problem I frequently run into isn''t so much about the motivation to do what needs to be done, but that I so rarely feel something needs to be done. So often I have felt the desire to do something and have nothing come of it because of the pure pointlessness of it all. There''s such a massive amount of things that most people do but which are (to me) completely pointless. My thoughts used to get stuck on thinking of things on such a large scale that everything looks completely inconsequential. When you look at things from the view of the galaxy or universe, everything becomes laughably meaningless.
I think this is just part my path in waking up, since over the last year I''ve started focusing more and more on the big things and what I can do to help shape them. Having that view fully integrated into your being is truly freeing. Whether I do my best or my worst, it is still effectively nothing. This the leads to a choice. I can either do like so many others (which is nothing) or I can go hardcore and kick ass at life. There are no bad consequences for either success or failure, so have fun with it and become powerful. At best I become God, at worst... well there is no worst. So that''s where I''m at now. I''m diving head first into big projects because there is no longer fear of success or failure. Both are illusions, so why bother thinking about them? |

Could I kill? Oh yes. Yes I could. Would I? That''s a completely different question. There''s a massive risk/reward part that I would have to think about. Every situation is different.
Any person with sufficient emotional mastery should be able to. That doesn''t mean they would choose to. Being able to control your emotions means you can block out the negative aspects during the act. The real issue though is being able to hold that block indefinitely. As Asmoday said, the reflection will come and you will have to deal with that. Would I be able to handle that? I have no idea and I don''t think I could know unless I experience it. |

I''d say they''re just as applicable with darkworking. The labels themselves can be misleading, so just focus on the descriptions. I haven''t read that article since he wrote it but I still think it works well no matter what path your on. The lower levels don''t really apply to us as someone at that level would not truly be polarizing.
Glad to see I''ve made some improvements over the last 5 years ![]() |

I guess this isn''''t really on topic, but I''''m always curious to hear people''''s opinions on "etheric" entities that you can encounter on different planes of existence and/or consciousness. How much of it is created by your own subconscious and how much is "real" and all the grey areas in between. There are a lot of opinions on this, but I don''''t think any of it could be considered hard fact. Or if there are definite laws or facts expand upon those. Generally just describe to me in detail the nature of the universe, lol. I, too, am interested in this. |

I feel like I would be more haunted by killing a cat. Maybe because of the fact that people are self-aware of their own eventual death and therefore accept the risks of being alive.
