This blog is not primarily financially driven. Asmoday put it up in years ago to build a community and give people a home they did not have.

Regardless, beginning December 1, 2009, the FTC requires bloggers to disclose whenever there could be hidden interests or unspoken biases related to recommendations.  So here goes…

First, the obvious: Asmoday is a Darkworker and an Economist. So, he believes in money…pools and pools of money.

Second, the less obvious: Per the FTC rules, if we interview someone and they grab the bill for lunch, we would need to disclose this. Ditto if we use an Amazon link that gets us 8 cents instead of an Amazon link that gets us 0 cents. If someone gives us a comfy t-shirt with a logo and it is worn in a photo, same deal. Disclaimers all over the place. This would be tedious for us and even more tedious for readers. But, rules is rules, force is force.

To cover our asses and preserve your reading experience, please assume that, for every link on this site, every product that is recommended, every guest interviewed, every person endorsed, and product we use — the following all hold true:
